Magical Mystery Tour 2010

The Myths and Legends Magical Mystery Tour 2010 was an adventure like no other! The Gods themselves came to witness this event, in the form of 2nd Baulkham hills Rovers who won First Place and Best Dressed by getting toga-ether in their Toga’s! The Legendary Berowra Bogans came Second Place, and Third Place went to the Mythical Razorlake Rovers.
How did they do it? Where did it happen and what can we expect next year?
This year there were 16 teams voyaging in a variety of vehicles (no mopeds) starting at Thornleigh and ending at Bangalee Scout Camp near Nowra. Participants spent the day following encrypted clues to each check point where they got fed and watered and took part in Mermaid Chariot Racing, Myth Busters Trojan Horse and attempted to turn water into wine!
Best dressed individual was Newbie from BrushPark who won an iPod Shuffle for his efforts. Honourable mention goes to Turramurra for retrieving a Frisbee from a roof using an unconventional bus method, in a failed attempt to skip an activity.
At the conclusion of the fashion parade and presentations, the night descended into a gala of memorable merrymaking and musical entertainment provided my Normo Rovers very own Sam and Em Bennet.
